As a brand strategist, UX/UI/print designer, filmmaker, photographer and writer, I fuse an insatiable curiosity with deep experience across a broad range of new and old media to help clients pinpoint and then articulate why their ideas or products are second to none. In other words, I help you inspire a connection.

My expertise spans print, interactive, moving image and social media, and I’ve been honored in Communication Arts, Print’s Regional Design Annual, the Summit Creative Awards as well as the Webby Awards. Between the agency I ran as Creative Director for 24 years, and what I do today, my clients have included Onkyo, Nautilus, Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, the City of Portland, NW Natural, the BTA, and Reed College, among many, many others.

As a director and editor, my film projects have been refreshingly diverse: a complete brand relaunch for Oregon Walks; a spot (and campaign) repositioning Oregon Zoolights; irreverent mockumentaries for Cameron Winery; book trailers for authors Debra Ginsberg and Hal Kwalwasser; and numerous short-form documentaries on affordable housing and alternative transportation. My 2001 documentary Life in Vine was distributed through the PBS network and hailed by the LA Times as “lushly photographed” and “lyrical” – very kind of them to say that.

My writing has appeared in or on Fortune, Northwest Palate, Willamette Week, National Public Radio, and the blog for the Portland winemaking collective Les Garagistes.

I’d love to put all of it to work for you on your next project. Let’s make something together.
